Research Interests

My interests are focused on the investigation of the chemical behaviors of radionuclides in the environment, and the environmental processes with modern nuclear analysis techniques. The main work in my group is observing the migration behavior of key radionuclides of high-level radioactive wastes in the geologic media and the engineered barriers, and understanding the migration and diffusion mechanisms of the species of these radionuclides. My group also conducts research that aims at finding the environmental behaviors of new materials, such as nanomaterials, with the help of modern nuclear analysis techniques and methods.
